For most homes, these recurring small leaks add up to create an effect equivalent to leaving a window open, all day, all night, and in all seasons.)
3. Reverse the direction of ceiling fans to push hot air downward and delay it from escaping the house
4. Remove and put away window unit air conditioners
5. Check/replace batteries in smoke detectors
